KRAFT Paints Brings Color to Athens with 3 New Murals that Inspire and Captivate
Through the "Cities of Color" program, and alongside international street artists, KRAFT Paints is transforming corners of the city, giving it a modern and visually upgraded footprint. The program continues its activities at full pace and with abundant creative energy, revitalizing urban spaces and collaborating with talented street artists.
The first artistic intervention took place in Nea Ionia by Brazilian artist Kelvin Koubik, in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy. His work emotionally connects old age with youth and biodiversity with the flora of both countries (Greece and Brazil).
The second mural was completed at the 76th Athens Primary School in Petralona by Irish artist FRIZ (Marian Noone), in collaboration with the Irish Embassy. It is inspired by Irish and Greek mythology, adding life to an area dominated by concrete.
The third mural was created at one of the most atmospheric summer cinemas in Attica, Cine Peran in Peristeri, by Greek artist Katerina Chrysolie, who drew inspiration from the magic of the 7th Art.
All three murals are of high quality, bringing a Berlin and Amsterdam atmosphere to the neighborhoods, drawing the attention of passersby, and enhancing the daily experience of residents. KRAFT Paints gladly provided colors from the 4 Seasons exterior category, a family of acrylic paints known for their vibrant hues and strong resistance to weather conditions and pollution.
The design and completion of the murals were carried out in collaboration with the artistic collective Awesome Athens Experiences. The "Cities of Color" corporate social responsibility program by KRAFT Paints focuses on upgrading public spaces through artistic interventions and murals. It partners with artists and organizations to enhance public aesthetics, showcasing artistic creativity.
