Quartz Sand 0.1–0.5 mm
High-purity quartz sand with a selected grain size distribution of 0.1–0.5 mm, suitable for resin flooring and waterproofing systems applications. It is used as an aggregate for the preparation of epoxy and polyurethane mortars, as well as by broadcasting to create anti-slip surfaces. It is ideal for shaping and reinforcing the final texture of BODENGUARD flooring systems.

General Information
BODENGUARD solutions are applied across a wide range of spaces and projects, from industrial facilities and areas with high hygiene requirements (such as food production and processing laboratories), to parking areas, commercial and industrial buildings, hotels, hospitals, warehouses, as well as in any corresponding application in residential spaces.
How to Use
Used as a broadcast over the first fresh layer of epoxy or polyurethane paint, it creates a rough texture that increases traction. This significantly improves the slip resistance of wet or dry floors and reduces the risk of slipping.
It can also be added directly to the epoxy mixture of BODENGUARD SL-500 (as a "third component") to increase mechanical strength and wear resistance, coating volume, dimensional stability, resistance to stress, and resistance to chemicals and cleaning agents, without altering the resin structure.
