The construction of the new arena for Rapid Bucharest’s soccer team commenced in 2019 with the dismantling of their former, outdated stadium and reached completion in 2022. Funded through government resources, this project is a key part of a larger plan to enhance the sporting infrastructure in Romania’s capital, particularly its premier soccer stadiums.

This stadium is uniquely designed for soccer, featuring spectator stands behind the goal lines, all shielded by an overhead roof. It has a capacity for 14,050 fans and is located on a relatively tight plot, which greatly influenced its architectural design.

KRAFT Paints played a significant role in its challenging completion through the meticulous treatment
and finishing of metal components. The use of durable Hard Duko paints on metal areas ensured protection against harsh weather, preserving their color and sheen.
