The Aegean Team ‘Omada Aigaiou’ Honored Druckfarben Group

Staying true to its philosophy of meaningful social contribution, the Druckfarben Group has been steadily supporting the Aegean Team ‘Omada Aigaiou’ for the past five years. This year, the Aegean Team celebrates 30 years of activities. For three decades, the Aegean Team has crossed the Aegean Sea from end to end, weaving a strong network of service, support, empathy, and solidarity among the small and remote islands.

In this admirable work, the team is not alone, as friends and supporters—both volunteer businesses and individuals—assist in its initiatives. Among these supporters is the Druckfarben Group, which has backed projects on remote islands for the last five years with financial and product contributions.

For this reason, the Group was honored in an anniversary event held on October 10, 2024, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). Among other contributions, the Druckfarben Group (KRAFT Paints, BIOCLIMA) has donated technology devices like tablets, built infrastructure (such as an accessible ramp to the sea for people with mobility difficulties in Koufonisi and Patmos), supported the renovation of schools with products and materials, and covered transportation costs for volunteers traveling to small and remote islands.

Recently, they also supported the 78-year-old heroic lady, Rinio, the only resident of Kinaros, with KRAFT Paints, covering the painting needs of her home both inside and out. All these initiatives are part of Druckfarben Group’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility program, which includes projects that benefit schools, cultural organizations, and local communities, contributing to the functional and aesthetic enhancement of various buildings.
