For the past 25 years, Thrace Group, a leading force in the food packaging and industrial products market in Southeast Europe, has established a strategic partnership with DRUCKFARBEN Group, a 100% Greek company with over 50 years of presence, leads in the production of flexographic and rotogravure inks for the flexible packaging sector. Through the brands KRAFT Paints and BIOCLIMA®, it also stands out in the fields of building materials, architectural paints, and energy saving systems for buildings.

Together, they have developed and implemented a series of innovative initiatives that promote the circular economy, exemplifying the dedication of these two major Greek companies to sustainability and environmental protection.

Guided by the principles of the circular economy, they adopt practices focused on reducing (reduce) waste, reusing (reuse), and recycling (recycle) materials. Through these actions, they promote a business model that combines environmental responsibility, economic efficiency, and innovation, while showcasing a model partnership with impressive results.

Over the past three years, the two companies achieved a significant reduction in the use of natural resources, with 46% of the materials used in KRAFT Paints & BIOCLIMA® packaging derived from certified recycled raw materials—equivalent to 32 tons.

Moreover, through the innovative platform www.in-the-loop.gr, 7 tons of plastic waste were collected and transformed into new, sustainable products, offering a practical solution to waste management.
