Arterra Patiti Varnish PU Aqua is an aliphatic, polyurethane, water-based, 2-component varnish. Its advanced composition of new technology resins offers water repellency, excellent mechanical strength, protection against friction, abrasion, impact, resistance to common detergents & household stains. In addition, it contains UV filters against solar radiation.

General Information
Arterra Patiti Varnish PU Aqua is used as protective and water repellent varnish on decorative coating systems, microcement-style, such as Arterra Patiti, on horizontal and vertical surfaces, for indoor and outdoor usage. It can also be used as a protective and water repellent topcoat over surfaces: concrete, stone, floor coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic), etc.
How to Use
- The application substrate must be: even, clean, solid, free from standing water, moisture, dust, oil, lime, tar and loose elements that can affect adhesion. For any necessary repairs use the appropriate products by KRAFT Paints.
- On decorative coating systems, microcement-style, such as Arterra Patiti, it is recommended to prime with Arterra Patiti Nano-Hybrid Primer before applying the protective varnishes, in order to ensure strong adhesion, stabilization of absorbent surfaces and uniform water repellency. Also, in this way, it prevents the selected decorative shade to get darker (slightly or more) before the application of protection varnishes. High attention is recommended to the protection of the system from any moisture penetration behind the application substrate (negative pressure), in indicative areas such as: balconies, gardens, outdoor floors, outdoor corridors, bathrooms, etc. For this reason, before installation where necessary, apply first the appropriate type of the cementitious waterproofing solutions, Hydroguard Systems by KRAFT Paints, depending on technical specifications. - Arterra Patiti Varnish PU Aqua is applied using a roller (eg microfibers), or brush, for at least 2 layers. Each layer is allowed to dry for approximately 24 hours (depending on weather conditions) before applying the next one. Light sanding and cleaning of the surface is recommended between layers.
- :Immediately after the application the tools must be cleaned with warm water and soap or a detergent solution. Remove as much material as possible from tools before cleaning.
