Known limitations for kraftpaints.com:

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are planned as part of our ongoing audit and remediation efforts:

  • Various pages throughout the site:

Some links, particularly those represented only by icons (such as social media links), may not include discernible text for screen reader users. Additionally, certain ARIA attributes used primarily within the main navigation menu may not fully conform to WAI-ARIA specifications. In some cases, ARIA roles may not include the required parent or child roles, or redundant attributes (such as aria-labelledby) may affect assistive technology interpretation. Some automated accessibility tools have also flagged color contrast issues. In specific instances, these warnings may result from background layers not being correctly detected by automated scanning tools. Where contrast deviations do exist, they may be related to predefined brand design specifications.

  • Internal product pages:

Along with the issues noted on other pages, internal product pages include additional structural accessibility considerations related to interactive components such as color filtering and tab-based content areas. Certain ARIA roles may require structural adjustments (for example, ensuring required parent roles such as tablist are properly defined). In some cases, form controls associated with filtering functionality may not have properly associated labels, which may affect screen reader usability. We are reviewing these components to ensure semantic HTML structure, correct ARIA implementation, and proper labeling of all interactive elements.

We acknowledge the existing accessibility issues and are currently undertaking a full site-wide accessibility audit to evaluate them and proceed with the needed fixes and alterations. While this process is underway, the UserWay accessibility tool has been implemented to provide users with customizable navigation and interface options to enhance usability.

Assessment approach

The accessibility of the  kraftpaints.com website was assessed through a self-evaluation conducted by DOPE STUDIO, the agency responsible for its design and development. This assessment was carried out in close collaboration with the Druckfarben Hellas SA. team, using a combination of automated tools and manual checks to identify accessibility barriers. A full accessibility audit is currently in progress to ensure alignment with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards; once it has been completed, this statement will be updated.
